11/19/24: today the town went from the dry yellow-beige grass and trees to brigh reds and oranges! much prettier! i know it means theres only so many days before plinko gets snow, but i'll be enjoying the pretty landscape while it lasts ♡
speaking of landscaping, how did it take me years of playing acnl to learn that cedars don't grow on the south half of your town??? i was wondering why they kept wilting while i was trying to landscape and only found out today after doing a little searching... such a stupid rule too 
completely ruined my plans to have anchovy's house surrounded by cedars smh. oh well, i'll just have to grab some normal trees from leif and use those instead 
11/16/24: i haven't updated in a while but i've been doing a lot; i got wumiibo this time around and it has been a blast to invite whatever character i want to the rv camp so i can buy stuff from them. it's been such a huge boon to decorating my house ♡ my main floor is vaguely japanese inspired (mostly using furniture from toby) and my upstairs is a craft room/bedroom (mostly using cyrus' furniture) and im planning on having a tech basement once i get a solid vision for it 
anchovy also moved in today ♡ i waited like 3 weeks to see if anyone i liked would show up in the campsite, but none caught my eye so i just decided to get the lil birdy 
incredibly not immune to villagers with bowlcuts and bushy brows, i just think its sooo charming ♡♡♡
10/19/24: elise moved in today! she reminds me a lot of my highschool textiles teacher in appearance and personality, so i already have a little bit of affection for her ♡
wolfgang's backstory/family tree is also being expanded! the other day he asked me for a long locust, saying something about his niece asking about them, but i forgot to fulfill the request; then two-ish days later freya asked me for a long locust and how she'd been wanting one! to me thats confirmation enough that freya is his niece— they even have pretty similar aesthetics for their houses. i have no idea who her parent(s) would be, but now i'm thinking that wolfgang spent a lot of time with her, and she took on his taste in music and style ♡
10/13/24: alright i've gone and archived the previous plinko diary since i'm done with it and am focusing on the new save! i've been running between the two plinkos for a bit moving all the things i need; it's somehow both slower and more hectic than i expected it to be, but it's just the beginning of a new save so i have a lot of time to get everything settled into normalcy.
i've been liking all my villagers so far! rod's kind, freya and agnes are fashionistas, papi is chillax, wolfgang is his usual peepaw self, and maple is quiet but sweet when chatting ♡
the most exciting thing that has happened thus far is that marshal moved in??? i had completely expected to move him behind, but i guess he decided he didn't want to part with his long-lasting crush on the mayor and even moved in right by their house!
