10/9/24: i forgot how slow it is to start a new town, i understand why but i still wish every game had an "i've got ~200 hours on this" option where i can just kinda go crazy from the start. anyways, i did go through with the town editor i found! other than minor town layout changes (mayors house, pond, and rock locations) i swapped out lobo for wolfgang (felt so betrayed when i loaded the down and thought i got my beloved peepaw and it was lobo... tch) and cheri for truffles (i ♡ butch villager) which was all i wanted to do!

in the next few days i'm going to start sending stuff between og plinko/neo plinko and setting up a new diary page so i can archive this one; it'll probably take a while since i do everything at a snails page, so i might not update this page until everythings settled!

10/7/24: my mint/white 3ds (and a lavender 2ds i forgot to tell u all about oops) came in today!! as i'm writing this it's 11pm and i'm starting the new plinko! i found this town editor i'm going to use so i can adjust the town layout to my liking (not changing anything too huge; just like 1 rock, re-tail, and maybe a pond idk) and boost my mayor to look like the trina i know and love ♡ hope it's not a sin to "cheat" and use an editor but i really don't want to give up some of the familiarity of og plinko. that's all for now i think, i'll try to update tomorrow with whatever else happens!

10/5/24: KIKI FINALLY ASKED TO MOVE OUT!!!! feeling the exact same relief i felt when snake finally moved out after months of me wanting him gone. very funny to me that she's finally leaving only a few days before my new 3ds gets here (but, again, it'll be a while before i retire this save for the new one) but i'll take the W no matter what!! villager move-outs always feel like a test of endurance because it usually takes 2-5 months, meanwhile the villagers i love are asking to move out every other week for NO REASON when i treat them so well smh... almost had a moment of weakness of letting savannah move out despite her and boone being in a happy relationship i wasn't ready to break up lmao

9/24/24: so... i may have forgotten to update this page for 2 consecutive months, but nothing that interesting has happened, i promise! kiki still hasn't asked to move out, marshal still has a misplaced crush on the mayor, and i haven't been doing much other than my usual dailies. however... i do have a pre-emptive update, and that's that i may be restarting plinko soon i'm getting a mint/white 3ds xl to replace my decade old pink/white 3ds xl (i'm worried about its hinges breaking) and with a new 3ds means a new acnl save! i've come to the conclusion that i'll start a brand new plinko, and will be making it my life's duty to get wolfgang as a permanent resident yet again.

this change won't be happening for a while now— the new 3ds still hasn't even shipped yet— but it means that sometime within the next month or so i'll be archiving this page and replacing it with an identical version to track the new plinko as it grows from the very beginning ♡

heres to hoping i can get over the feeling that i'm betraying current plinko so soon after the 2 year anniversary...

7/24/24: today is the 2 year anniversary of starting plinko!!!!!!! isabella gave me the same sapling clock she got me last year (which resides in my basement room) so i put it in the upstairs room this time around. kinda crazy that i've been looking after this silly little town for two whole years, hopefully i can keep up for another year! i also got don resetti's picture yesterday night- i already got mr. resetti's picture a while back after i finally found out how to access the underground surveillance center a few months ago :P

7/12/24: i've finally visited katrina enough for her to join main street!! i immediately went to open construction/fill the goal since i had nearly 7.5mil sitting in my bank and the 340k price tag was nothing to me. not much else has been happening lately, but i did give wolfgang a yellow froggy chair just for funsies ♡

6/27/24: henry moved in! i think i might give him new wallpaper because the default plaster wall looks a little brain-y and offputting. there was someone in the campsite today too. that someone was bree... a SNOOTY villager!!! i won't let this event taint my view of henry, but you must imagine how deeply i sighed when i saw her, knowing that i just lost the chance to get her due to how charming that little green frog was a few days ago

6/24/24: henry is going to be moving in soon!! i don't technically need a smug villager since i have marshal, but his design is so charming that i didn't even think twice about inviting him into plinko's community ♡ he'll be added to the line-up once he's actually situated in plinko! also, i'm hoping that kiki will ask to move out soon so i can start searching for a snooty villager. a villager like annalise, tasha, gwen, or maybe even greta would fit into plinko's vibes really well— but i'd settle for basically any snooty villager i could get my hands on at this point

6/18/24: visited katrina today! even though i've had plinko for nearly 2 years i have completely neglected to see katrina whenever she's in town. i do really want her as a permanent part of main street so i've had to remind myself to get my fortune whenever she's in the town square. i need (probably?) around 10 more visits before she offers to move into main street, so it'll still be a while before i can get her, but i'm looking forwards to it anyways!

6/15/24: charlise was the talk of the town today! not only did she place 3rd in the bug off (with savannah 2nd and hugh winning 1st), but lolly mentioned that she noticed charlise and wolfgang have become close friends recently ♡ boone also admitted that he thought charlise and hugh were "lovebirds" which is so silly because they are total opposites from eachother. can't believe i missed the bug off though— i haven't been keeping track of dates/events recently, oops!

6/13/24: fang was in the campsite today, and i nearly took him, but apparently he's a cranky type and not smug??? i have wolfgang already, so i really don't need two cranky wolves at once. honestly im hoping for a snooty type to show up, since it's the only type i don't have in town, but my luck is kinda bad...
